I think you would take the 1% and multiply by the other 1% and get 1 out of 10,000 chance for the example of the two players being dealt same suit and one with K and one with A. Odds of one of those cards being the K of that suit, 7.5%. 15% chance x 4.5% (above) = almost 1% chance two opponents are dealt 4 cards of the same suit and one of the peeps gets the A. Odds of one of those cards being the A of that suit, 7.5%. Since we are asking for both players to have the same suit maybe number is about 4.5%. Odds of getting two suited cards dealt: 24%, so odds of two players getting dealt suited cards is about 6% (24%x24%). There will be problems/issues with how I work this out, but I would say it is close. We are very good friends, I study game theory and probability but am not sure how to set this probability equation up. What are the odds of Making an ace hi flush vs a King hi flush at a table with with just 4 players, the game was no limit holdem A5 vs K9 She pushed me all in I called with the nuts and afterward she asked what are the odds that it would be me out of her 3 opponents.
